Ishtar continues to be one of the most popular Turkish restaurants in London and consistently receives very good reviews including several from Time Out. The quality of their modern and traditional Turkish food is excellent, service is attentive but not oppressive and the ambience is convivial.

About the event
Your organiser frequently eats there and, as a regular, has negotiated a remarkable price of £58.00 for your menu – including wine – for an entertaining evening.
We will start with an apéritif and a choice of hot and cold mezze, including hummus, taboulleh, sautéed aubergines, spinach paté, aubergine puée, fresh broad beans or pan fried king prawns.
For the main course there will be a choice of four dishes – chicken, lamb, fish or vegetarian.
The dessert will be Baklava served with ice cream
This will be followed by Tea or Turkish Coffee.
A choice of Red and White Turkish wine will be served with the meal.We will be in the quieter upstairs dining room, but those who wish can go downstairs afterwards to watch the belly dancing.
