A Satisfaction of Fortified Wines and Liqueurs

Some drinks are kept for special occasions but some of these fortified Sherries, Madeira, Ports, Amaretto liqueur and Cognac can make any occasion special. We will start with two sherries, followed by the Club’s cold buffet . Further drinks, will include different styles of Taylor's Ports.

About the event
Because of the wines’ alcohol content, tasters may request smaller-than-usual servings.
Lustau East India Solera Sherry. 20% alcohol. 50cl.Gonzalez Byass Apostoles Vinum Optimum Rare Signatum, Aged 30 years. Medium sweet, 20%. 2×37.5cl.
Pause for buffet.
Henriques & Henriques Madeira Verdelho 15 years old. Medium dry, 20%.Kopke Colheita 2005, Tawny Port, in oak until bottled in 2023, 20%.Taylor’s Late Bottled Vintage Port 2016, 20%.Taylor’s Vargellas Vintage Port 2015, bottled 2017. Quinta de Vargellas, 20%. Foot-trodden.Taylor’s Vintage Port 1985, bottled 1987, 20%.Amaretto Liqueur, 29%.Hennessy Very Special Cognac, 40%. Several years in oak.
